 “This can be a distinctive tale of Black entrepreneurship and empire-building in a town that’s the beating center of Black tradition,” says collection author Cole Brown, “I’m ecstatic to be operating with a group that may give this tale the authenticity and platform it merits.” Magic Town: An American Fable charts the upward push and pitfalls of the Atlanta strip membership and its sustained imprint on hip-hop tradition, as informed via workers, dancers, newshounds, control, and numerous famous person interviews together with 2 Chainz, Nelly, Shaquille O’Neal, Quavo, Killer Mike, Giant Boi and others.
